Anywhere on the planet! We arrange customs tours everywhere.
Many travelers realize that they have more fun with a group, especially when all arrangements are handled for them. Is there a special family event to celebrate? Are you a member of a church, club, pub or sporting association? Once you get a core group, we will work with you on the travel program. We will customize the sightseeing, meals and entertainment that appeal to you and your group. And, as a bonus, custom tours of 15+ allow the group leader/coordinator to travel for free
Our coaches are not handicap accessible, so you must be able to get on and off the coach unaided and be able to move about once on the coach. You may bring a walker or a lightweight, foldable wheelchair that can be stowed in the luggage compartment under the coach. You must advise us when booking a tour that you will be using a wheelchair or other medical equipment. You must also travel with a companion who can push the wheelchair. Please remember that most sites we visit are hundreds of years old and may not have ADA accommodations.
We use 4- and 5- star properties for all our tours. Most have spa and leisure facilities.
For individual travel, we can arrange any class you wish including Bed and Breakfasts. We do not arrange Airbnb-type properties.
We do not offer room share for people who don’t already know each other. There is a single supplement charge available for single travelers.

We do not sell optional extras. Everything you see on the itinerary is included. If you wish to add something in your free time that is solely up to you, but we do not make those arrangements. On a very rare occasion, we may learn of an event at the last minute and arrange for the group to attend for an additional fee. An example of this would be River Dance was doing show in a town we were visiting in Ireland and they offered tickets to the show. We asked if anyone was interested and allowed them to opt in or not.
All included meals are listed on the itinerary. Typically, we include breakfast every day and dinner almost every day. You would be responsible for your lunch meal. The coach will stop at places for food. Some folks want a sit-down lunch, while others prefer to grab and go so they can explore the town we’re stopping in.
Hotels offer a wide variety of foods and with proper notification they can accommodate most any dietary requirements. When making your reservation please notify us of your specific requests. Once you are in your tour hotel double check with your driver/guide and the hotel.
You are responsible for current converters for your electrical devices. Check the requirements for each device they do differ. Mobile phones do not need converters, just the appropriate plug.
If you need to bring insulin, please be sure to bring a box to store it in together with freezable ice packs. Hotels can store the insulin for you and can freeze the ice packs to help you keep it cold when traveling on the coach. If you take prescription drugs, ensure that you have an ample supply for the duration of your trip and always keep them with you. Any medication must be in its labeled container when going through airport security and customs.
Most small medical devices, for example C-PAP machines are permitted on tour. If you travel with a C-PAP machine, be aware that distilled water is not always readily available in stores. Some, but not all, pharmacies stock supplies. Bring distilled water with you or contact one of the hotels and arrange this directly with them. Check the electrical current requirements needed. Europe and most of the world is 220V while the US is 110V.
You do not need to exchange currency before leaving the U.S.. If you do you, will pay more than when you are in the country you are visiting. ATMs give you the bank rate and are more secure than money exchange offices. You may also not have time to visit a local exchange office. ATMs are everywhere. Hotels will also offer currency exchange for small amounts.
Major credit cards are widely accepted and we recommend you use them to avoid carrying cash. ATMs are widely available and will accept appropriate cards and dispense cash in the local currency. Additional fees may be charged, so please check with your financial institution before you travel. It’s also a good idea to inform your bank that you are traveling overseas to ensure that they don’t block your ATM / credit cards while you are on the road.
You do not tip wait staff, bartenders in most places outside of North America, many restaurants include a 10 – 15% gratuity to the bill. You do need to tip your driver/guide. General suggested rates are:
Driver/Guide (1-person crew) 8 – 10 dollars/euros per day
Tour Director (part of 2-person crew) 5 dollars/euros per day
Driver (part of 2-person crew) 5 dollars/euros per day
Guide for walking or city tour 2 dollars/euros
VAT is included in the selling price of all goods in European Union and UK destinations. 1 checked bag and 1 carry on plus a personal item, such as a purse of backpack. Porters will handle your checked bag, you are responsible for your carry on and personal item.

Generally, the dress code for our tours is very comfortable and casual. Dressing in layers provides the most comfort as you can shed and add items when the temperatures fluctuate. Consider packing the following items:
For group air, there is no pre-selection of seats. Arrive at the airport at least 2-1/2 hours ahead of time, to check in and have your documents reviewed. You can get mileage credit for your flights. Have your frequent flyer number with you. Most international carriers have a mileage share program with US domestic carriers.
Special in-flight meals can be arranged when you sign up for the tour. Just let us know. These must be arranged at least 72 hours in advance of flight time.
You may opt on providing your own air, because you want to pay with miles, or upgrade cabins or are coming from a different airport than what the group reservation. You would be responsible to meet us at the tour arrival airport. If you want to arrive to a destination early or depart after the group, we can assist in arranging that with you. Many travelers want to stay longer once the group departs and venture out to other places on their own.
Let the agent at the airport know you have TSA or Global Entry, they will update your reservation when they assign you a seat.
The coach will be waiting for the group at the arrival lounge. If you are providing your own air, you need to be at the airport when the group arrives. We can assist in booking your own air so that you arrive with in a time that will allow you to be at the airport with the group.
Being on time for daily departure for tours is taken seriously. We do have set times to be places and even a 10-minute delay can cause a ripple effect.
If you do not wish to participate in a tour on a given day, you are free to remain in town, but only IF we are returning to that town in the evening.
You should purchase travel insurance. You never know when something unexpected arises. If you become ill on or before your tour the insurance will refund the cost of the tour. It will cover the cost to return you home or pay for medical while on tour. It also covers your belongings while on tour, should the airline misplace your luggage. Each tour has an insurance code and cost associated with it.
You must have a valid passport to travel internationally. Your passport is your responsibility. VisaGuide.World is a good site to check the requirements before you travel. Some countries require passports to be valid for at least 6 months before you travel, i.e., getting a last-minute passport may result in not entering the country. If you need special visas or medical requirements (immunizations) prior to travel, we will let you know. Some countries, such as Egypt, require a visa upon entry. This is obtained at the airport prior to passport control for a small fee. Some countries such as China require a visa prior to travel.
